New Living Design & Construction transformed this Illawong home into the perfect entertaining space.
The biggest highlight is the stunning open-plan kitchen. While the diagonal layout presented a unique challenge for a traditional island bench, we engaged an interior designer who came up with a show-stopping solution: a heart-shaped, oversized island bench. This not only maximizes functionality but also perfectly complements the homeowner's love for hosting.
Previously obstructed by red brick walls and minimal windows, the home's stunning river views remained hidden. To unlock this hidden gem and create a seamless entertainer's paradise, we installed two expansive sliding stacker doors across most of the exterior wall. This transformation not only floods the interior with natural light but also creates a breathtaking connection between the open-plan living area, the upgraded outdoor BBQ balcony, and the panoramic river vista.
The renovation extended beyond the kitchen, adding a spacious walk-in pantry and upgraded laundry. Engineered oak floors were installed throughout the downstairs area, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. And for added comfort, the bedrooms received a refresh with new carpets & wardrobes.
